This beguiling collection of "Old You" remixes blends the music of Maggie Dave with the dark and captivating imaginations of celebrated composer Nina Shekhar (LA Phil, Eighth Blackbird), Tallac (Deep House Sweden) and producers Charlie Scovill & Phil Galloni. Joining them from the original master tracks are singer and Grammy-nominated vocal & instrument arranger Tehillah Alphonso, saxophonist Joe Berry of M83 and John C. Schroeder of Pomplamoose.

Stemming from an R&B/dance-influenced track that explores the grief of a falling out with a loved one, “the original song underwent a drastic metamorphosis in response to animator Cassie Shao’s visionary interpretation of our lyrics and the transformative power of Tehillah’s vocal choir that she arranged and performed,” says Sean David Christensen, singer. “What began as an alternative rock track slowly morphed inward, exploring traumatic memories and fractured personal narratives that Mark (Christopher) & I find challenging, but creatively satisfying places to write songs from.”

Each artist on this EP explores their own journey through the subterranean textures of "Old You" to create personal expressions of loss, longing and forgiveness.
